Established in 1974, Pacific Primary is a full-time, year-round preschool program serving San Francisco s working families. The institution consists of two schools: Yellow Sun School with an enrollment of 80 students and Orange Sun School with an enrollment of 75 students. The school comprises 47 staff members and a student/teacher ratio of approximately 6-to-1. The school has a diverse curriculum that includes creative arts, such as music, movement and the expressive arts besides regular academic syllabus. Pacific Primary's summer program begins in July and includes two months of fun-filled field trips. The original campus, the Yellow Sun School is a single-story, 4,400 square foot facility with a playground space of 5,600 square feet while the Orange Sun School facility is two-story, with 7,400 square feet and a 3,600-square-foot playground.
