It offers mental health treatment, foster care and social services that help families recover from trauma, abuse and addiction. Established in 1867, it is one of the largest family-centered treatment program and provides services to over 18,000 children and their families annually throughout 30 counties in California. It offers a wide range of services, including residential, psychiatric, matrix and foster care and adoption, wherein children from birth to age 18 are placed in certified foster homes.
