The Pacific Center for Human Growth, founded in 1973, is the oldest LGBTQIA center in the Bay Area and the third oldest in the nation. It operates the only sliding scale mental health clinic specifically designed for LGBTQIA and QTBIPOC individuals and their families in Alameda County.
In addition to clinical services, the center offers a variety of community programs, including peer support groups, youth programs, and training opportunities. The Pacific Center is dedicated to sustaining affordable mental health services and promoting well-being within diverse communities.

I used to come here to receive therapy sessions and it was on sliding scale for only about $20;per session. That was back in 2000. It was very helpful.

Very thankful for the therapist I found at the pacific Center. They have been a great help in a time of need. I felt welcomed, heard and safe when I fell upon hard times. Can't thank you enough.
