Owens Family Day Care opened in April 1996 - present Assistant Teaching Certification through Long Beach City College Child Care Grant Award Recipient Member of National Family Child Care Association, Greater Long Beach / Lakewood Family Child Care Association Experienced parents of two grown sons and daughters, grandparents of eight, and great grandparents of seven and great- great grandparents of one. Former full time working mother of an aerospace company for 20 yrs ( I relate to a working mothers schedules and dilemmas with child care)

Specialties

At Owens Family Day Care we specialize in creating a safe, clean and nurturing environment with age appropriate learning activities set in a small family atmosphere for infants age 12 months to preschool age 3 1/2 yrs. We keep our childcare small ( only 4-5 children ) to ensure they receive the best quality of care. My rates are $145 per week full time. No registration fees.
