The Outdoors Santa Barbara Visitor Center (OSBVC) shares a wealth of information with its visitors about the Channel Islands National Park, the Channel Islands National Marine Sanctuary, the Los Padres National Forest, and the city of Santa Barbara. Located in the bustling Waterfront of Santa Barbara's working harbor, the visitor center offers one of the best views of the city, beaches, harbor, mountains, wharf and islands. Numerous free brochures and reference materials about the forest, park, sanctuary and the city of Santa Barbara are available for the visitor, and our friendly volunteers can answer questions about Santa Barbara and the Channel Islands, to enhance your visit.

Just go to the 4th floor! Such a beautiful view with a private feel like balcony. Friendly staff and good info/knowledge about the area Recommend all around .

Nice little shop with brochures and gift items. Folks here were friendly but didn't offer any suggestions. I picked up a free book on Santa Barbara.

Stopped in the visitor center on State Street. Was welcomed by 'Barbara' who provided a great overview of Santa Barbara sharing maps, pamphlets and suggestions on things to see while in town....
