History

In the fall of 2011 Our Piccola Accademia opened business in a rare 1970's property located near the Batiquitos lagoon and Ponto Beach. Taking influence from Reggio Emilia practices OPA serves families of toddlers through school age. Mixed age classroom environments foster individual growth, as well as, community learning. Parents describe OPA as an urban farmhouse meets Reggio Emilia school. Children are respected and valued for who they are and teachers believe learning is a journey for all. Continuity of care is high for both families and teachers return year after year, viewing the program not just a school or community, but as family.
