Ostioneria Colima is a locally-owned restaurant that opened its doors in 1988. Currently, we have 3 locations in Southern California and we enjoy serving you a unique selection of Colima-style seafood in a unique and comfortable environment. We specialize in the regional Mexican seafood dishes (mariscos) from the western state of Colima, Mexico. Our first restaurant opened in 1988 in Hacienda Heights and since then, we have expanded. The ingredients we use in our dishes are so fresh you'll notice right away! In our photos, you'll see that no vegetable is wilted and all our seafood is so fresh that it seems like they swam up onto the plates! If you have a big appetite, you don't have to worry about ever leaving our restaurant without a full stomach. Our portions are very generous, and they are reasonably priced as well! We bring unique food from the Colima region of Mexico and offer you a comfortable and unforgettable dining experience. Shrimp ceviche tostada is on point. Diablo bacon wrapped cheesy shrimp is large but for some reason I expected it to be like a jalapeno shrimp. It's good if you love bacon. Fish taco is really good too! 1 can fill you up well. This place has my favorite ceviche lemony with plump shrimp! Tostadas are good too. 3 of us ordered the shrimp cocktail and they were once again amazing. Great flavor and a lot of shrimp. So good we even drank the juice from the cocktail. By far the best seafood place I've been in a while. The service is great and the ambiance is very casual and respectable! Also it's a healthy place to eat if you're on a budget.
