The Fresno Metropolitan Flood Control District is a special district in Fresno, CA, providing flood control and urban stormwater services in a 399-square mile watershed. With a focus on preventing property damage and managing surface water flows, the district protects the Fresno Clovis urban area through a system of dams, detention basins, and stormwater retention basins. Additionally, the district facilitates dry season groundwater recharge and offers recreational stormwater basins for public use.

With over 700 miles of pipeline and more than 150 stormwater retention basins, the Fresno Metropolitan Flood Control District serves a population of over 700,000 people. Its capital facilities are funded through local development fees, while operations are funded through a limited voter-authorized tax. The district also assists businesses and industries in complying with Clean Water Act regulations related to stormwater. Through its commitment to performance excellence, environmental and economic sensitivity, and maximizing public benefit, the district aims to provide a completed system of stormwater management facilities that enhance the quality of life in the community.

A very nice park that my kids love. The slides, swings and duck pond is their favorite. I enjoy the basketball court myself. Overall it's the best park I've been to in Fresno.
