Orinda Shorin-Ryu Karate has operated since 2015. Prior to that Jeff Violet taught in Oakland starting 2009 and prior to that Stanford University starting 1998.
Specialties
New Adult classes Tuesday & Thursday 6-7am Youth/Teen class starting 07/17 for six weeks Wednesday & Friday 11am-12:30pm Practicing Shorin-Ryu karate will get you in shape, improve your confidence, and make you feel good. Beginners are welcome to join and skilled athletes will find a great challenge. Our training is respectful, safe and intense. Youth particularly benefit from improved concentration.
