Harbor Patrol Division is a part of the Orange County Sheriff's Department, which offers a range of law enforcement services. The Orange County Sheriff's Department operates communications, administration and court services divisions. The department also maintains field operations, forensic science, and research and development divisions. In addition, the Orange County Sheriff's Department operates support services, reserves programs, investigations and financial services divisions. The department s communications division manages the operation of the countywide coordinated communications system. Its support services division maintains and supports various computer systems owned by the department.
