Started in 1993, Orange County Auto Theft Task Force (OCATT) is a multijursidictional law enforcement program. It investigates, arrests and prosecutes professional and career criminals responsible for vehicle thefts in Orange County, Calif. The program offers services to various law enforcement agencies. Agents from the National Insurance Crime Bureau, California Department of Corrections, California Department of Motor Vehicles, California Department of Insurance and Orange County Probation Department also participate in the program.
