Oneonta Elementary School provides a variety of educational and extracurricular programs for more than 580 students in kindergarten through grade six. Its academic curriculum includes classes in various subjects, such as social studies, science, English and mathematics, as well as Spanish. The school has a parent-teacher association that conducts student assemblies and parent education classes. Oneonta Elementary School organizes several workshops in the areas of sexual harassment, stress and conflict management, interviewing skills, asbestos awareness and welding safety. It also administers the Gifted and Talented Education (GATE) program. Additionally, the school offers food services to students. It is a part of the South Bay Union School District, which governs several elementary schools. Oneonta Elementary School is located in Imperial Beach, Calif.
