Founded in 1952, One Institute is the oldest active LGBTQ organization in the United States, dedicated to preserving and sharing LGBTQ history through education, arts, and social justice initiatives. With a commitment to social equity and justice, One Institute empowers educators and students to incorporate queer history into their communities while highlighting the intersectional narratives of marginalized groups.

As the independent community partner of ONE Archives at USC Libraries, One Institute promotes the world's largest collection of LGBTQ materials.
