Fremont Surgery Center, established in 1986, is an ambulatory surgery center that provides medical assistance to athletes and undertakes a variety of surgical procedures. Its areas of expertise include gastroenterology, general and plastic surgeries, gynecology, hernia repair, podiatry, neurosurgery, spine surgery and urology. The services offered by the center include sports medicine, nutrition counseling, and pain management and recovery aid. It has a full-service arthroscopic facility that undertakes orthopedic procedures and provides treatment for bone and muscle injuries. The center also provides urological procedures, which include removal of kidney stones through laser and shockwave lithotripsy. The laboratory services offered by the center include magnetic resonance imaging, fluoroscopy, X-ray, ultrasound procedures and colonoscopies. The center is located in Freemont, Calif.
