Only traveled on the floor level but it is beautiful, historic and calming park. Next to hwy 101, the freeway really doesn't affect the park settings that much. Plenty of trees for shade, picnic...

Visitor Center was closed. Sign said open on Fridays. It was not. Wandered around a little. Not much to look at. Would be a nice place to hike, but not for $8.00 parking fee

The only park that has the ruins of a mansion, housed a commune, has a native village, and great hiking trails. The ranger we met used to live in the commune and was a great source of information....
