Olive Knolls Christian School serves students in grades kindergarten through eight. The school uses Abeka curriculum, which is well balanced and covers phonics, spelling, language, math, history and science. Its academic curriculum also includes a daily Bible lesson, weekly chapel services, music and fine arts. The school also offers a standardized testing and reporting reading program that tests each student to assess their current reading levels. Olive Knolls Christian School s students participate in various activities, such as the Hume Lake nature camp, Kern County Oral Language Festival and trip to Washington, D.C. The school also offers a summer day care program for children ages 3 to 12. Olive Knolls Christian School is located in Bakersfield, Calif.
