History

Mike Flamme has been in the flooring business for more than 25 years, and has owned a store in the high desert for about 16 years. Marge & Mike met while she was working on the wholesale side of the flooring industry, & Mike soon found himself moving to Tustin. Having visited many flooring stores during her wholesale career, Marge felt that there was need for a different kind of store, where people could browse comfortably, while being educated about products, design, etc., but not be made uncomfortable by pushy salespeople. Mike & Marge looked for the right location, and when the McCoy building (1880) became available, Old Town Flooring was born!

Specialties

We specialize in helping you select the right product for your floor, including carpet, hardwood, laminate, porcelain, stone, cork, & more. We are licensed contractors, with trained, experienced installers, who work for us exclusively. However, we do NOT install material that we have not provided. Our tile installers do showers as well as floors, and we mud-set/float the tiles on the walls, the proper way. We also have our own fabrication shop where we produce custom countertops from granite, Silestone, Caesarstone & more. No commissioned high-pressure sales...we educate you, loan you samples & give you free estimates. We also help with design. We do not quote over the phone, and need you to come into our showroom to make product selection before we give you an estimate. We're a small, family-owned business, and look forward to working with you!
