The Will Rogers State Historic Park is a 186-acre public park created in memory of one of America's best-loved actors and humorists. It is located in the central Santa Monica Mountains with amazing views of the Pacific Ocean and Los Angeles. However, this is more than just your average Southern California park. A great time to go is on a weekend between mid-April to October, when polo matches are held. The Visitor Center is open from 10:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. Thursday through Sunday. The Ranch House is open from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. Thursday and Friday, and 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Saturday and Sunday.
