Ocean View High School

Ocean View High School, established in 1976, is a public school offering educational instruction to students in grades nine through 12. The school has an enrollment of more than 1,500 students and is a part of the Huntington Beach Union High School District. It offers core, advanced-placement and International Baccalaureate diploma programs that include subjects such as, business, English, fine arts, math, physical education, social studies, science and foreign languages. Its week-long, voluntary summer program, called Week of Welcome, is recognized by the California School Board Association as a Golden Bell recipient for student support. The school offers various sports, including badminton, baseball, cross country, track and field, golf, swimming, basketball, wrestling, volleyball, football, soccer, tennis, waterpolo, cheerleading and softball. It also provides financial aid to students in the form of grants and scholarships. Ocean View High School is located in Huntington Beach, Calif.
