Ocean Family Childcare

History

Our philosophy is play-based (child-centered), which we strongly believed in hands-on learning. Our curriculum will be based on and will be modify according to children's interest and age appropriate. Our ratio is six children to one teacher, unless we feel more help is needed. We would like to keep a low ratio so that we could have one-on-one interaction with each child. We want to build a strong relationship with you and your child from the start.

Specialties

At Ocean Family Childcare, we aim to provide a safe indoor and outdoor environment for young children from 18 months to 5 years old to freely explore. Each child is a unique individual; therefore, our program creates to meet varied abilities, interests, needs, and learning styles. We strongly believe children learn best through meaningful play. Our play-based (child centered) program reflects the integration of physical, cognitive, social, emotional, language, and self-help. We encourage curiosity, discovery, and problem solving as part of positive self-image development. Our play-based classroom is broken up into sections; such as dramatic play, science area, water play, reading area, project area, or other areas.
