Ocean Beach Child Care Project

History

Ocean Beach Child Care Project is a non profit organization that provides a safe, healthy, nurturing and responsive environment. The center is committed to suport the child's development by cherishing individual differences and helping them to live and work cooperatively by promoting self esteem. We provide opportunities for each child to grow and develop intellectually, physically, emotionally and Socially. The child at his own pace, within safe limits, and ample supervision can explore, experiment and learn knowledge and acquire skills. The center believes in partnership among communities and other schools to enhance the development of the child. OBCCP enrolls children who are 3 months to 5 years. To be admitted to the pre-school program, we require that the child must be potty trained. Priority will be given to Child Protective Sevices and At- Risk children. Low income families are eligible if the parents are employed, looking for work, in training towards a vocational ob
