History
Oasis Community Church started off as Calvary Chapel (not the denomination) in 1948 with a group of dedicated Christians desiring to reach this beautiful desert community. Initially they met in homes of members. A couple of years later the Church was built. In the 1960's the name was changed to Oasis Community Church. In years following the Church members voted to become part of the Foursquare denomination. It was in 1996 that we were Chartered under the International Church of the Foursquare Gospel.

OUTREACH:our goal is to communicate God's word and His love both near and far. ADORATION:our desire is to celebrate the Lord's presence in our lives. SUPPORT: our purpose is to demostrate God's love by supporting one another. INTIMACY: our intent is to commit to Jesus & each other in fellowship & membership. STUDY: our objective is to educate God's people to make disciples of Jesus.

A very cute "oasis" of a church in the desert! The pastor breaks down things for those that might not be familiar with the Bible, like "what does hallelujah mean?" But there's still a lot of meat...
