HistoryGreat things often start from small beginnings. Prestige Care and Prestige Senior Living are no exception. Founded in 1985, our origins began with the legacy of Sarah Delamarter, a pioneer in Oregon's long-term care industry. Sarah first began using her nursing skills to care for seniors in her home back in 1946. As Sarah's reputation spread for her compassion and care, the demands for her services grew very quickly. Soon she was able to purchase a large house and converted it into her first senior care community. Today, Sarah's legacy lives on through Prestige Care and Prestige Senior Living. By bringing family & home together and purchasing additional homes, her grandsons, Harold and Dr. Rick Delamarter, along with their partner Greg Vislocky, now own Prestige. Assisted Living residents may choose from a variety of spacious studio, one and two bedroom apartments with wall- to- wall carpeting, 24 hour emergency call bell systems and kitchenettes with a microwave and full size refrigerator. Our Expressions Memory Care neighborhood also offers spacious private and companion apartments featuring kitchenettes, private baths, barrier-free showers, wall- to- wall carpeting, 24 hour care and emergency systems. Our Expressions neighborhood is overseen by a Licensed Vocational Nurse who has more than 20 years of experience in memory care and hospice.
