Oakley School

Oakley Elementary School, located in Oakley, Calif., is one of the schools of the Oakley Union Elementary School District. It enrolls more than 600 students in kindergarten through grade five. It prepares students through a flexible education system, which begins their development into well-rounded adults. The school keeps abreast of new technology and enables students to work in a safe learning environment. Students apply problem-solving strategies learned through written, oral, technological and experiential applications in the classroom. The subjects cover various curricular areas, including English, mathematics, social science, science, health and physical education, music and art. Oakley Elementary School encourages all students to participate in extracurricular activities, such as its newspaper, band, student council and sports, such as basketball, volleyball and softball.
