The Oakdale Museum & History Center is an Italianate home of the Victorian Era. Built in 1869, it has been used as a Museum since 1985, with an extensive collection of local memorabilia, family histories and photos. Friends of Oakdale Heritage have operated the Museum since 2009, with a helpful and friendly staff. Open Thurs 1 to 5 and Sat 10 to 4. Free admission; donations appreciated.

They held an adoption event for a local dog rescue. Brought in a lot of vendors and had games as well as food truck out there. I always recommend businesses that help out rescues.
