The United States Forest Service is partnered with Kern River Paiute Council to meet the need of having a facility to acknowledge the presence of the Native American Communities that inhabited the Valley and surrounding areas, past and present.

Free Admission! Native American Intertribal Cultural, Visitor's Center, & Museum. Native Plant Garden and Native Plant Sales. We have a Wednesday Craft class Brings together many wishing to learn Native American Crafts and share their talents, time, and friendships. Many artists and crafters offer their creations in our Gift Shop. We have jewelry, gourd work, basket work, paintings and extra craft supplies. Every Saturday we have Indian Tacos! Fresh made in our kitchen. 11am-2pm
