History

Channel your stress away to another dimension, dance is a form of meditation! This storytelling art form was started as a specialized dance recounting mythological and moral tales from the scriptures, embellishing recitals with hand gestures and facial expressions. It was quintessential theatre, using instrumental and vocal music along with stylized gestures, to enliven the stories. Rhythm, pirouettes and footwork are at the core of the dance. I have been teaching Kathak dance classes at this location for children and adults of all ages for over a decade (2007)

Offering Kathak dance classes for ages 3 and up. We have We have Pre-k, children, team and adult classes available. We also offer exams from Prayaag Sangeet Samiti, Private lessons, online classes and performances
