Founded in 1966, North-West College prepares students in short-term courses (classes) for careers in the medical and business field. Based in Pomona, Calif., the college offers several programs, such as surgical technology, vocational nurse, medical assistant, med insurance biller, dental assistant, massage therapy and eyecare specialist. North-West College also provides placement services for the graduates. It is a charter member of the California Association of Private Postsecondary Schools, which includes the California Association of Paramedical Schools.
