History

Non Stop Bhangra(NSB) was founded in 2004 when founders of Dholrhythms Dance Co. teamed up with DJ Jimmy Love with the goal of bringing Bhangra to a wider audience. The first Non Stop Bhangra was hosted to celebrate the one year anniversary of Dholrhythms by providing a dance space for students of their Bhangra classes. Since then, NSB has made this traditional style a serious dance floor craze in San Francisco, drawing the most diverse crowds to join in the frenzy. NSB is a destination, creating sold out nights and write-ups as one of the best dance floor nights in San Francisco. After 7 yrs of full capacity shows at the Rickshaw Stop, in 2012, Non Stop Bhangra moved into one of the hottest venues in the city, Public Works. Becoming one of the ambassadors for the sound of Bhangra in the US, the vision for NSB is to expand on the experience & West Coast Bhangra to a whole new level!
