Located just off of Sutter Street right before a traffic circle on El Dorado Avenue is the quaint little shop called Nine Patch. It is a unique gift store filled with baubles you never knew existed such as exotic baskets, crockery, collectibles, vintage jewelry, quilts and fashions. Founded in 1973 by Elaine Zelnick, Nine Patch continues to feature a vast array of unique world urban folk art, making it stand out among other boutiques.
Please note that as of July 1, 2009, the store is on sabbatical for the renovation of its building and has no set re-opening date as of yet.
