History

Professor Bud Estes brought Danzan Ryu Jujitsu to Chico in the late 50s early 60s. Nibukikan was started by two of Professor Estes' students Bud Fuller and Kitty Fowler in 1968. After operating for a few years the dojo was handed over to Professor Lamar Fisher who guided the school until the early 90s. The dojo is now a 501(c)(3) not-for-profit, charitable organization and continues the quality martial arts instruction that began over 40 years ago.

Great Instructors in Ju-Jutsu and Judo. The only bad things is that the training mat is hard, but so is pavement.
