History

Established as a Video Game store in the late 1980s, Game Mania supplied The local community with Video Games System and accessories before the big box stores knew what video games were. In 2005 Game Mania Changed its name and ownership changing the name to Next-Gen Video Games. Again in 2009 It changed hands to it's current ownership. To address lack luster sales, The new management looked into other product lines such at Magic the Gathering, Board Games Warhammer and more table top. Within a years time Next-Gen's Popularity soared and was able to acquire a store three times the size just 5 blocks from it's original location. In 2014, we moved for our last time to a perfect spot with plenty of play space. We now go by just Next-Gen Games and no longer focus on Video Games. Customers couldn't be happier with our new store. Welcome to Next-Gen Games! We carry of host of games ranging from Magic: The Gathering, Board Games, D&D, X-Wing, Warhammer, and Retro Video Games! We bring all these elements into our beautifully remodeled store and let gamers geek out in a fun and welcoming atmosphere. We use our large space to host almost daily events! Weather for a Magic: The Gathering Draft, a 3500 point Warhammer game, or a special campaign for D&D, you bet you can find other players to play with. We even have a FREE board game night every Wednesday! We have capacity for over 100+ people and our store is well lit and clean and conveniently located on the corner of Pico & Hauser. All this and almost all our product comes with a standard 10% discount to help with the strain on your wallet. We hope you come down for an event and give us a chance to help you have some fun!
