Newman Elementary

Newman Elementary serves students in kindergarten through sixth grade. Its academic curriculum includes language arts, math, science, English and social studies. The school has a staff of specialists, including Title I, resource room, physical education, music, library, and speech and language teachers. It offers a range of student services to support many federal and state grants. The school offers a variety of sports activities, such as soccer, volleyball, basketball, softball and track. It also organizes various group activities, such as chess, computer and art clubs, as well as a student council and junior counseling programs. Newman Elementary also offers before- and after-school care programs for kindergarten students. It is a part of the Chino Valley Unified School District. The school is located in Chino, Calif.
