New Brighton Middle School provides academic and social education to more than 580 students in kindergarten through grade eight. The school offers various athletic activities, such as cross-country, basketball, wrestling, softball, soccer, volleyball, and track and field. The school s core curriculum includes English, computer applications, foreign languages, physical education, science, social studies and math. It has a library and media center that provides a variety of print and electronic resources. In addition, the school offers career guidance and personal counseling services. New Brighton Middle School provides its students with an opportunity to participate in judo, homework, drama and yoga clubs. The school is governed by the Soquel Union Elementary School District.

Great school went there when I was a kid. I had such good teachers and learned a lot. It was my first public school after Montessori.

I find that first comment funny because I had one of the creepiest p.e teachers one year when i went here but the 2 other years i had one of the best (you go mr.edgar!) anyway... the food was good...
