The Nevada City School of the Arts is a public charter entity that serves students in kindergarten through grade eight. The Blue Ribbon school offers instruction in art and music for students in Nevada County in California. It also administers KinderQuest and Artists In Residence programs. The Nevada City School of the Arts manages a parent association that organizes fundraising events, such as open houses, appreciation luncheons and film festivals. In addition, the school provides classes in drawing, drama, dance, painting, printmaking, and digital design and composition for students in grades six through eight. The Nevada City School of the Arts offers extracurricular activities in cross-country and track and field.
