Dr. Miller and his son founded Covina Animal Hospital in 1937 to serve the veterinary needs of the San Gabriel Valley. Dr. Chatfield, an associate veterinarian working for Dr. Miller eventually became the owner in 1984. Dr. Ortmayer, an associate veterinarian for Dr. Chatfield, then became the owner in 1994 and is still the owner today. To continue Covina Animal Hospital's vision of providing the highest quality veterinary medicine, Dr. Ortmayer built a brand new state-of-the-art hospital in 2015.
