History

The founder and owner, Emily, is a credentialed teacher who worked as a middle and high school teacher and librarian for over a decade. Her efforts to engage struggling students across the academic subjects provide the broad base the business is built on. Students of all learning styles and strengths will find a comfortable environment to thrive.

Specialties

Our tutoring center is comprised of talented educators who work hard to make sure your children understand what they learn in school, build new skills, and gain confidence. Often, challenges in school create stress or arguments in the home, in relationships, and in extracurricular activities. Navigate Learning addresses the whole child so that students overcome emotional family and school situations. Families rely on us to lessen the daily arguments that homework and studying can bring. We are also available to bridge the gap between school and home, meeting with teachers, checking grades, and reporting home if needed. Services available for all ages (K-5, middle and high school, and college): Academic help in all subjects and levels (English, History, Math, Science, languages) Organization and time management skills Essay and research paper strategies Study skills for tests and finals SAT/ACT prep College counseling and application work
