Naval Postgraduate School offers advanced education and research programs to increase the combat effectiveness of the U.S. armed forces. The school provides more than 1,000 degree programs to over 2,000 students. It offers courses in space systems operations, civil-military relations, information technology management, computer science and modeling and simulation. Naval Postgraduate School also provides executive education programs for the U.S. and international students. The school manages research centers and institutes. It operates the Graduate School of Business and Public Policy and the Graduate School of Operational and Information Sciences. The school offers educational opportunities to military, navy and marine officers in Monterey in California. In addition, it provides legal and housing services. Naval Postgraduate School manages a library that maintains e-journals and databases.
