The only Salinas area heliport is stationed in front of the Natividad Medical Center emergency services department. Owned and operated by Monterey County, the Natividad Medical Center is a full service health care facility whose campus is comprised of a main inpatient area, the Barnet J Segal Outpatient Services Center, administrative and business services, the Sam Karas Acute Rehabilitation Center, an education center and a nearby professional center. A 3-story office building is leased to community providers and other healthcare organizations. Among Natividads departments are: family medicine; pediatric services; neonatal intensive care; in and outpatient women s services; surgical services; internal medicine; infectious disease; and mental health services. The center provides emergency services for poison control and urgent care. Physicians are on duty 24 hours a day. Natividad Medical Center is in Salinas, Calif.
