National Insurance Crime Bureau

In operation since 1992, National Insurance Crime Bureau fights insurance frauds and crimes. Located in Chula Vista, Calif., the organization collaborates with insurers and law enforcement agencies to facilitate the identification, detection and prosecution of insurance criminals. Its members include commercial/personal line property/casualty insurers, self-insured organizations, rental care companies, parking services providers and transport-related firms. The crime bureau fights crimes through investigation, training, legislative advocacy and public awareness. National Insurance Crime Bureau also manages medical, commercial and vehicle frauds.
