History
Sierra began teaching in 2017 after completing her undergraduate degree in flute performance at the Hartt school of Music in Connecticut. Since then she has received a Masters (2020) and Graduate Certificate (2022) from the University of Southern California in flute performance under the tutelage of word renowned flutist and teacher, Jim Walker. Since 2018 Sierra has been teaching primarily in Los Angeles, CA. She has held positions with the Santa Monica Conservatory of Music as head flute faculty, 88keys Music Academy, Soriel Music Academy, and Harmony Project.
Specialties
My studio specializes in private flute instruction out of my home or online. I am an experienced educator in both private and group settings, with students ranging from young beginners, pre-professionals, and adult hobbyists. I offer various lesson packages based on your interest and availability.
