History
Mighty Thredz was founded by Julius Bercasio as a one man design studio in 2009. The company grew quickly with many marquee clients and, as it did, so did the dominance of apparel printing as the center of the business. In May of 2014, Julius decided to pivot, outsourcing production so the company could refocus on its roots in design. Damien Foord had been consulting and and founding businesses around the creative industry for 15 years. In January of 2014 he was working on his 5th design-focused company and, like many of his earlier efforts, it had a strong strategy but stumbled in execution. Seeing an ideal opportunity for partnership, Julius recruited Damien to apply his strategy to Mighty Thredz, and in September of 2014 the Mighty Thredz Creative Agency (MTCA) was born.
