The Mt. Lassen Club is the oldest bar in Chester. Back when the timber industry was booming, the Lassen Club was a thriving bar and steakhouse. New owners, June 2017, are continuing the traditional bar service, while increasing the availability of high-end liquors, and unique beer choices. The restaurant reopening is being contplated for the future.

The Mt. Lassen Club is known for great prices on stiff drinks. The bar has over 38 kinds of beers and a range of different liquor choices. If you are looking for high-end scotch, gin, whiskey, or vodka the Lassen Club has a huge selection.

Best bar in town!! Great selection of beer and cocktails. Wine list is on point! Great PCT stop if visiting Chester. Staff and owners are always welcoming!

Sure, it's a dive. But this is my kind of place. I love it. Looks like it's been here for a hundred years. Bartender is friendly and prices are pretty good.
