Mountain West Financial is a California based mortgage banker specializing in FHA, VA, and Conventional lending programs. We also offer numerous down payment assistance programs for new and first time homebuyers throughout the state. MWF has recently released a new home loan program, CalPATH to benefit CalSTRS & CalPERS retirement fund members who serve our local communities. This program is available specifically for Teachers, Police Officers, Firemen and other Public Employees in California. Originally founded in 1990, we are proud to be celebrating our companies 24th year in business and attribute our longevity to the importance we place in the relationships with our valued realtor, client and vendor relationships.

As a leading down payment assistance provider for first time homebuyers, MWF has developed a web-based tool, the Down Payment Resource Center for homebuyers to research & confirm qualification for all available DPA programs in California. A potential homebuyer can search by city or address for public and private-funded down payment assistance programs, including affordable fixed-rate mortgages.
