Founded in 1961, Mothers' Club Family Learning Center offers a range of services for creating awareness and education amongst impoverished parents and children regarding various aspects of practical social life and sustenance. Located in Pasadena, Calif., the center offers several programs including family literacy program and first connections. Mothers' Club works in partnership with many other community-based organizations, the City of Pasadena and the Pasadena Unified School District. It is a member of the National Center for Family Literacy's and Pasadena Literacy Alliance Network.
