Morro Bay Community Church

North Morro Church is a gospel-centered Southern Baptist church located on the north side of Morro Bay, California. Established in 1953, the church has undergone various changes throughout the years and experienced a period of closure in 2012. However, through prayer and seeking God's guidance, the decision to start a new church was made, and Pastor Jeremy was brought on board in 2014 to lead the church's restart. Committed to being as biblical as possible while recognizing human imperfections, North Morro Church aims to glorify God through prayer, flexibility, evangelism, discipleship, authenticity, serving, building relationships, and continuous learning.

At North Morro Church, evangelism and discipleship are key components of their mission. They strive to share the message of Jesus Christ with non-followers and provide opportunities for individuals to be discipled or to disciple others. The church believes in the divine inspiration and infallibility of the Bible, the existence of one God who is three persons, the salvation through Jesus Christ, the fallen nature of humanity, and the reality of heaven and hell. As an autonomous Southern Baptist church, North Morro Church welcomes individuals from all denominations while adhering to the Baptist Faith and Message.
