Montclair Information Technology Services Department provides full-service support for computer hardware, software, e-mail, geographical information System and Internet service requirements. Located in Montclair, Calif., it also provides development and maintenance services of the city's Web site. It is a part of Montclair Administrative Services Department, which administers a variety of functions and programs that include staff administration, management and supervision. It provides various other services, including telecommunications, information technology, administrative support, personnel, labor relations and finance and contract services. The department also provides extensive support services, including communication services, document duplications, mail processing, office supplies, animal control and contract services to various other city departments, such as the city manager and city council.

The Vista Fire Department provides public safety and fire protection services. Services include fire fighting, rescue, hazardous materials incident responses and emergency medical services with emergency transport. Additional services include fire personnel training and community disaster preparedness. Fire prevention activities include inspection, code compliance, community protection planning, public education for fire survival and abatement of weed hazards. The mission of the department is to minimize deaths, injuries and property loss by taking all feasible action to prevent fires and, if they occur, to extinguish them promptly, and to provide advanced life support and emergency medical transportation for the community. It provides a variety of services that include water production and water distribution administration and operation. Its other services include wastewater collection, treatment, and disposal administration and operation. The department also offers a wide range of services that include solid waste and recycling collection, disposal administration and operation, citrus grove operation and airport administration. The Municipal Utilities Department specializes in four major support functions, including engineering, geographic information systems, regulatory compliance, and customer service and utility billing. The department has more than 140 authorized full- and part-time employees. It is administered by the city of Redlands, Calif.
