Montevideo Elementary School

Established in 1977, Montevideo Elementary School is a part of the San Ramon Valley Unified School District, which operates more than 25 schools and serves over 21,000 students within the communities of Alamo, Blackhawk, Danville, Diablo and San Ramon in California. Montevideo Elementary School enrolls more than 500 students in kindergarten through grade five. The school offers classes in math, physical education, science, social studies and reading. It also provides lessons in art, band and music. Montevideo Elementary School operates a parent-teacher association that funds science experiments, classroom resources, library materials and computer classes. The school additionally operates the Montevideo School Site Council. The site council is the elected governing board of the school. Its purpose is to develop, monitor, and evaluate school programs as described in the school's Single Plan for Student Achievement. Montevideo Elementary School is located in San Ramon, Calif.
