Montessori of Rancho Cucamonga provides a peaceful and safe learning environment that develops the "Whole Child". Through the Montessori Curriculum, Monthly Unit Studies, Music Appreciation, School Library and our outside classroom, your child will be learning throughout the whole day! Music Appreciation- There is a close relationship between music and children learning, such as listening, eurhythmic movement and language development. Music Appreciation will nurture your child's self-esteem and set the foundation for a well- rounded cultural lifestyle. A musician, using many instruments, will come to your child's preschool classroom once a week to conduct sing-along sessions. Montessori of Rancho Cucamonga also presents a June recital each year. Students work with their class, as well as our musician to develop[ recitals which include both singing and dancing. School Library- Our school library is another place the children can explore, discover and learn! Every child is encouraged to take one book home each night and enjoy reading it with his/her family. Reading together in the home will help mold your child into becoming a reader. Raising a reader significantly increases your child's potential for academic success. Outside Classroom- Your child will experience the "Wonder of the Outdoors" in our park-like, secure, and well-maintained playgrounds. The playgrounds are equipped with age-appropriate playground equipment. There are large grass areas and several shade structures-- a perfect setting for outdoor learning!
