History

Founded in San Francisco by Judith Flynn and Jean Nugent, the Montessori Children's Center is a preschool serving children ages 2 - 6. We provide a full range of Montessori materials and activities in both classrooms. During the day, children are guided in their use of the Montessori teaching materials by the teachers and staff. A typical day also includes play time outside, group activities, and a morning and afternoon snacks.

Specialties

Serving the children and families of San Francisco since 1976. Here at MCC, we believe in letting the child's spirit guide us. It is our goal to help children develop and nurture their intrinsic love of learning, their independence, and their sense of community. In the process, we hope to aid them in becoming lifelong learners. Located in picturesque Parkmerced in the southwest corner of San Francisco, the school is housed in state of the art facilities in a quiet neighborhood.
